Description

Nothing says summer like burgers on the grill! Choosing meat from gassfed cows also means you’re getting two to four times more omega-3 essential fatty acids than conventional beef. Serve these burgers on lettuce wraps alongside veggies or sweet potato fries for the perfect meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb organic grassfed beef
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • Romaine or butter lettuce leaves
  • Avocado, tomato and red onion slices for topping

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, garlic powder, parsley, salt and pepper by hand until just combined.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Once the grill is hot, place the burgers on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes. Flip and cook for 2-5 minutes more depending on desired doneness.
  3. Serve on a lettuce wrap with sliced tomato, avocado and red onion.
