Description
These chicken tenders get an extra boost of omega-3 and protein from hemp hearts, which make the perfect crispy crust. Serve with paleo ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 2 large eggs
- ⅓ cup hemp hearts
- ⅔ cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk the eggs in a small bowl and set aside. In a separate bowl, stir together the hemp hearts, almond flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken tender in the egg wash, then coat in the breading. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, turning once halfway through, until golden.
