Hemp Heart Crusted Chicken Tenders

These chicken tenders get an extra boost of omega-3 and protein from hemp hearts, which make the perfect crispy crust. Serve with paleo ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.


  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup hemp hearts
  • ⅔ cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk the eggs in a small bowl and set aside. In a separate bowl, stir together the hemp hearts, almond flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken tender in the egg wash, then coat in the breading. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, turning once halfway through, until golden.
