Sesame Crusted Salmon
If you usually eat your salmon plain, this recipe is a great way to switch things up. The sesame seeds make a delicious crispy crust and coconut aminos are used as a healthy alternative to soy sauce.

- 2 wild sockeye salmon filets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- ¼ cup coconut aminos
- 1 teaspoon honey
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Rinse your salmon filets and pat dry.
- Stir together the garlic, ginger, coconut aminos, honey, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Place the salmon in a dish or bowl and pour the sauce over top. Use tongs to turn the salmon over a few times in the sauce, then cover and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Spread the sesame seeds on a plate and press the tops of the salmon filets into the seeds. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and drizzle with remaining sauce.
- Bake for 10-14 minutes depending on thickness of the salmon. Serve with veggies
